I agree. The price has been determined with their market research.

They have been using the Vitacig truck to gauge this, as well as rolling them out at gas stations in PA- I saw the twitter pics on the Vitacig page with vendors selling them for as high as retail $7on their store stands at the front cash register.

With this in mind, they must believe that $5 a stick is the greatest profitability point while maintaining strong sales volume. They also have to increase the price on their website to expand sales into the retail sector, they can't be seen to be severely undercutting them with their online sales. :):)
