yes I read that before and my objection is really the PR that said investors on the record date June 30 would get the dividend and dividends would be treated as ORDINARY

The procedures for stock dividends may be different from cash dividends. The ex-dividend date is set the first business day after the stock dividend is paid (and is also after the record date)

I understand that if you buy on the ex div date you won't get a div but some are saying if you sell after June 30 you won't get it. Not what the PR said. IT SAYS SHAREHOLDERS OF RECORD ON JUNE 30 WILL GET IT. Also even the SEC used terms like MOST AND MAY...why not say ALL?
