I would not be mad at you, but studies have shown that dividend payments help share price more than a buy back. In either case the cash could be better spent. From my point of view it's fascinating that for some stocks "not if but when" supports share price but for others it doesn't. Even newsletters of dubious quality can get people jazzed about one but not the other. Sorry, but I think it's naive to think the business with HTFBS was about execution
