I thought this to be true:

first, the BOP does not allow co-defendant convicts to reside in the same prison facility during the same incarceration time

However, I know first hand two co-defendants whom are spending contemporaneous time in the same facility, together, right now, as we type. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose their case or location.

I will say, they are from Staten Island, and probably standing in line for lunch right this very moment.
