No matter how hard you try to play this down, the fact remains that Cerner is going to transform "downtown" into a huge economic "uptown" enterprise--complete with Local and State blessings.
And the fact that APT owns property on this planned development site just increased the value of this "blighted" property dramatically.
If I bought a piece of property out in the boondocks 2 years ago for $100,000 and then found out walmart wanted it for their newest superstore, it would be on the market asap for $300,000-$400,000. ( After I bought it I did a lot of remodeling of course :-) )
