I'm not an expert in kc real estate. But here in Chicago, depending on the location and demand, 2.2m an acre is definitely possible.

Regardless, the article says that "Construction of the first office building is expected to begin late this year, allowing occupancy before the end of 2016" (2 years from now) and that the campus will take "10 years to complete." So I doubt APT will realize a giant cash windfall anytime soon.

Also... is anyone sure that shareholders actually "own" this property? Imo all they've owned so far is APT's old debt!

What does Cerner's 10 year plan development have to do with the land/property they purchase from APT? If they want the land, they have to close on it and at closing, monies are due in full which APT said is expected to be completed in September.

Yes, the shareholders actually "own" the property because APT Real Estate, LLC is 99% owned by American Performance Technologies, the latter which is a wholly owned (100%) subsidiary of APT Group MotoVox Inc.

Dianne had asked why the Deeds of Trust were signed by APT Real Estate, LLC when it was not mentioned as being part of the APT Group. The reason is that APT Real Estate is an indirectly wholly owned subsidiary of the Group, and that it is majority owned (99%) by American Performance Technologies,LLC it is perfectly fine for the real estate entity to enter into an agreement.

I had inquired directly with APT Group Motovox on the legal structure of the Company and can confirm the above as being their reply.

Think they're talking about everything on that 50 acres as well...

Expect 150k- 200k per acre, plus $$$ for building(s)
