CONCORD, N.C. , July 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- It was announced today that Iron Horse Auction Company, Inc. of Rockingham, N.C. will conduct an online only auction of Doug Herbert Performance Parts Inventory starting on August 1, 2014 at 8:00 am and ending on August 6th & 7th 2014 at 2:00 pm both days. The auction will include Shop Equipment, Tools, Cabinets, Tool Chests, Shop Fixtures, Parts, Inventory, Race Car and More.
The auction will be held online only. The Items are located at Doug Herbert Performance Parts, 4030 Concord Parkway South, Concord, NC 28092. One can inspect the items on August 4th, 5th & 6th from 10am to 4pm and August 7th from 10am to 2pm.
NHRA Champion Doug Herbert has decided to downsize his performance parts business and put his focus more on the non-profit B.R.A.K.E.S. Foundation that he founded. Since its inception B.R.A.K.E.S has grown to the level where it needs more of Doug's attention. In this downsizing Iron Horse will be selling a like new engine dynamometer, straight track racing parts, engine tooling and partial parts inventory. Doug Herbert will reenter the performance parts industry through a more streamlined and lean business model utilizing more technology, ultimately meeting the consumer's needs - and the new model will allow more time for B.R.A.K.E.S.
