I think the current Market Maker system has some valid points. It's been around for hundreds of years, and has gone through lots of evolution to its current state in the U.S.
But, I also tend to agree with you:
I am also aware that any system to replace the current system will probably be corruptible as well, and will also have shortcomings. Still, I would like to see change.
To your point on technical analysis: It tends to work for me, so I use it. I am like the Pavlovian dog, feed me and I do more of the response; punish me and I try new tricks. Unlike, the dog; I am always looking for new tricks that are better than the old tricks.
