I do not think so. But It's really just a device specifically to navigate to their content. The TV's are already SMART.

Yes. Any TV. Sony proprietary content is about navigation and settings. Not about actual content itself.

Just like the massively inferior np-1, Any sony media player will feed something as long as the TV can take the connector.

The Sony menu app is proprietary, not what one watches.
