Why does everyone keep using "coy" It is not the abbreviation for company. But one of the definitions (#3) for coy does match the company to a T "tee" :

1. artfully or affectedly shy or reserved; coquettish.
2. shy; modest.
3. reluctant to reveal one's plans
4. Obs. quiet; reserved.
