Since LymPro is a lab blood test, the labs are the ones who will need to be provided clear protocols to perform the test properly and then report a number displayed on a scale, similar to how cholesterol or blood sugar levels are reported. The report gets sent to physician or neurologist that ordered the test, who then can draw the conclusion from the test. Obviously, the doctor would need to have a good understanding of the test, but this would be simply a matter of studying the LymPro materials and brochures provided by AMBS, which would be no different than studying about other newly approved drug therapy. This LymPro number is compared to the established cutoffs based on what AMBS has determined to be the threshold for considering a positive, borderline, or negative diagnosis.
