I don't think shorts are "criminals." Thats pretty potent. I am amused by all the message boards I read that think this. Value wins in the end but if it is "criminal" to be short then a lot of your fellow traders would be in jail and the markets you would expect to keep going up…and up…and up. If you are a trader it is all about volatility which would be less if there were no shorts.
