Not defending NEWL, but no, some stocks move back off of the gray market. The gray market is not the burial market for all stocks. I can point to one specific one at this moment that I ended up with that moved to the grays that is not dead and did not stay there. It is quoted again today under "PRLX". It was a medical device maker. It may not be booming, but it is alive and moved back up to, so I would say it is possible for a company to recover and get back off the gray market. Whether one can or not would depend on each individual company, I would think, based on its assets and future performance.
