Yeah, how dare a company try to stop dilution of shares. It looks to me that the conversion will make a serious investors stock worth what they paid for it even if they have lost and protect it from future dilution. They will have less shares but each share will be worth more. But since most people buying common are just in it for a quick buck they diluted instead dropping the pps. Maybe she sees the error in that plan and thats why they are raising the A/S. But if I put 5 grand on a stock and a bunch of leaches sold it down 50% I would be glad to have it converted to non dilutive ps at my original investment amount.
