I've NEVER questioned the FACT that NanoTech's products would be in ANY of the Major Retailers they aim for: The ONLY question for me personally was WHEN...
For anyone who has been to ANY ONE of the 12 International Trade Shows, where NanoTech has demoed NO LESS THAN 6 Nuvola Models over the past 10 months, it has ALWAYS been VERY CLEAR that this product was very well received.
For anyone who bought any ONE of the 4 Nuvola NP-H1 4K Pro Models & has been streaming UltraFlix, you have been given a FRONT-ROW seat to all the real-time hard-work these guys have put forth. Carl Bellitti, Blake Brown & others like Alexander "LX" Rudis & staff have been working seemingly non-stop to deliver a QUALITY PRODUCT.
For those who HAVE NOT done EITHER: Visited ANY Trade Show &/or chose NOT to purchase ANY Nuvola, even now, you have been able to see NanoTech go from making their OWN ENTRANCE @ CES 2014, to having Akamai Technologies & Orange Telecom feature The Nuvola NP-1 @ The International NAB Show: Along with many other companies & partners NTEK & Akamai have named in relation to that milestone event.
After all the decisions: Deciding to focus on 4K, deciding to deliver a multi-pronged business strategy (with "4K Studios", The Nuvola Product Line, The UltraFlix UltraHD 4K TV-Network, etc.), the decision to DROP the Taiwanese AllWinner 31 ("A31") chip set (at seemingly, the very last minute), then announcing nVidia, being patient to land Foxconn to manufacture, waiting on Android,...ALL WHILE FACING strong shareholder pressure: NTEK showed me a GREAT DEAL.
They would NOT cave to pressure.
When they had a need, realized they had to acquire a particular skill-set they WENT RIGHT OUT & got them: Carl Bellitti, Blake Brown, Aaron Taylor, moving Alan Stone to COO,....
NTEK has kept the end goal in mind & worked through challenges to deliver on their promise. After ALL THIS, they are STILL the FIRST & ONLY company to deliver a 4K Streaming Media Player that works on all 4K TV brands at efficient internet (data-cap & cost-saving) streaming bitrates, AND with CONTENT!!! Not to MENTION being about to LAUNCH their OWN EXCLUSIVE 4K TV-Network!!
So the short answer about Best Buy then, is that if NanoTech thinks Best Buy fits their model - they will BE THERE!!! And, I expect they will BE THERE when NanoTech thinks the time is RIGHT!!
As for me PERSONALLY, I have seen ENOUGH to know that this team has been doing what is BEST for shareholders & they are working hard on building their business. Doing what is necessary & getting the JOB not ONLY done, but DONE RIGHT!!
NTEK has more 4K CONTENT than ANYONE!! So, now we go from Best Buy to how many 4K TV will come standard with the UltraFlix UltraHD 4K TV-Network this fall? Run the numbers, they are STAGGERING just what UltraFlix is capable of generating.
Which puts NTEK in a unique position since they can service ALL THE LOWER (end) Tier 4K TVs via The Nuvola, AND they can support ALL the HIGHER Smart 4K TVs with UltraFlix to deliver 4K Content to EVERYONE.
I am just thrilled to be a shareholder. I think that by this time NEXT YEAR there will be lots of cause for CELEBRATION for those long NTEK: Do the DD,...self-verify!!
I spoke to a higher management person that was with BEST BUY prior. He said that in standard items standard staff is aware if new items 1 week in advance if selling, management 1 month.
For totally new items & perhaps surprised like the NP-1, timelines would likely be reduced.
NTEK - confidence is sky high here. 1 in a hundred stock here.
