there are in this country millions of heavily-armed fascist/theo-fascist wingbutt/bagnut/teabuggerer types who would like little if anything better than to grab their gear and head out to join in a mass slaughter of those among the rest of us who stand against them, who do not or refuse to stand with them -- a mass slaughter that if/when it gets triggered could quite easily produce in a few hours a body count surpassing the body counts of all of our previous wars/conflicts combined

this for some time has been, and continuingly increasingly is, an extraordinarily dangerous time in this country, and it does not in any way help for any of the rest of us to miss or minimize or dismiss that fact, that reality -- this time here echoes, loudly, through history, history which makes unmistakably clear that it can happen here, and very well might

this is not a game; this is as real as it gets -- recognize and/or understand and/or accept and/or like it or not, the rest of us here are literally, and not just in some sense or other figuratively, in a fight for our lives
