"sites like that" is quite an over generalization. What exactly does that mean? Where is the evidence that they were paid? If they were paid in stock, the company would have seen some sort of potential value in the company or they'd be shooting themselves in the foot. They didn't say "not paid". They said "not compensated" which would cover anything in return for the pr. Until I see evidence that there was more than zero compensation for the pr, the statement "they get compensated somehow" will be interpreted by me as hearsay.
