Interesting timing on this filing....isn't this the first day of trading since the blackout ended? Is it possible that an acquiring company that they have been in talks with for some time had wanted a tweak, or some other change to the RBR patent before agreeing to montize/aquire? Just a thought! Generally what is the turnaround time for the certificate to be awarded on child patent such as this new one filed on 7/7/14 that is related to RBR?
In the CC Malak states that the procedure takes about 8 weeks. That would be two months from 7/7/14 so roughly the 2nd week in September for its issuance.
IF a deal is contingent upon VPLM being granted the patent that was filed on 7/7/14 this would mean that we could possibly not receive word from the Board for 2 more months....
I do find the timing of the filing interesting. Perhaps Rich Inza should be contacted about this to see if he can shed some light on this.
