People are not expecting multi bagger over night. Many on this board are invested in APDN for more than 4 years. I have been in this for more than 5 years. I have given this 2.5 more years ( dec 2016) to make it to $1 that's 7.5 years not overnight :) :)

Kbar44,

Will react in two ways.

On one hand there are many on this board including myself who have held this share for more than 6-8 years. That is a reasonable period to expect some handsome returns. Not exactly the get-rich-quick types. With RS, our share count will come down significantly and the hopes of a multi-bagger will be thin. That is the whole point in investing in a penny stock.

On the other hand I agree that a share price above 5 dollars could get us more attention from Institutional investors as that is generally their thumb rule. Also a possible listing on Nasdaq.

Either way there must have been some reasons compelling APDN to think of a reverse split.

I'm with you. An up listing would eventually get us listed in some mutual fund sector plays, the Russell 5000 maybe. This brings all sorts of new attention.

A 10 bagger in the penny arena happens with pump and dumps often. Majority on this board are not looking for the P&D. A 10 bagger from $5 is not unreasonable for short term interest once interest is picked up from the mutual funds. At least then the volume would be such that the MM's couldn't skew the price as easily.

And I see plenty of recommendations for potential 5, 10, 20 & 50 naggers written up by the likes of The Agora team and others.

Yeah Kbar, I think your view is very realistic. Long holders have to expect to remain long. I do think the reverse split buys us a platform to rise from, cause we're running in the mud now.

Most of us got off that moon rocket shot a while ago. As a long holder, and all the damn shakeup in us, I'm thinking this is a prudent step in making my purchases an investment, rather than a risky speculation.

Feeling better all around, Maybe the MDA required this.
