No. Along4zride is incorrect. The government is limited on how much they can pay lawyers to about a couple hundred grand a year or so. So, the government can not recruit top level legal talent...they just can not pay them what they are worth.

In the private sector, there is no "limit" on what lawyers can be paid. So, the top talent wants to be paid what they are worth, and that is the private sector.

Epstein and Olsen, lawyers for the plaintiffs, are top level talent hired by Billionaires like Ackman, Berkowitz, Icahn, etc. The government simply can not match the talents of Epstein and Olsen with "generic" lawyers who work for the government for peanuts.

It would be like Peyton Manning going to work for the government for peanuts. He wont be doing that, at least, until he is way passed his prime. Yea, he may coach but not until he cant make big bucks throwing the football.

Thus, shareholders have the top legal talent, and the generic government lawyers are hopelessly outmatched against the likes of Epstein and Olson.
