Problem is, it's still at the Discovery stage. There might be lots of interlocutory applications between now and trial. The Defendants seem to try to use all kinds of tools available to drag out the whole case. By the time it reaches trial, it may be 1.5 - 2 years from now. And the losers of the case may appeal.

On the other hand, settlement does not seem to be a likely solution. It's not a class action and a settlement between the Plaintiffs and Defendants of the case does not absolve the Defendants from being sued again. Further, there are over ten Plaintiffs and it would take just 1 unhappy Plaintiff to jeopardise any potential settlement.

I have faith that shareholders will win ultimately. It's just .... it takes far too long.

I agree. I think that it makes logical sense. Especially in the Perry Capital injunction case. That one should take 1-2 more years max with every possible appeal. I am thinking next summer.
