Nanoviricides fully circulate throughout the entire system. There is no blood brain barrier issue as these are not conventional drugs that interact with the system. So far in animal studies the drug has shown no interaction other than the normal metabolic and eliminatory system. First evidence of blood brain barrier not being an issue was the efficacy of the nanoviricide against Rabies which replicates in the neurosystem, including the cerebrum.

The one thing that will be critical in tox studies will be the PD/PK which will first confirm the nanoviricide method of action, that there is no interaction between the host system and FluCide, and then confirm that the system eliminates it without allergenic or immunogenic responses: that there are no pathways in the process that result in incompatible substrates.
