I think it's a direct shot at the defendants.

Nothing in the discovery request is less than two years old! How can anything there be so important that it will mean the end of the free world? I also see it as a shot at Watt's letter in support of the motion to dismiss. Seems really weak in retrospect but regardless, this will be fun to watch.
