Yes...for no suprise it seems to be no coincidence that Lympro & Elto were gained for no money (compared to these screaming of being a "multi-million-$$$-drug" each). However, these pseudo-pipeline let AMBS survive quite a while and MANF is now quite a bit closer to first applications in humans. However, all that Lympro hype towards a conference (and then to another conference) with all this twitter-junk is just PR IMHO.
However, this Lympro-stuff/expectations still seems to fuel the PPS at some point. Thus, it works for AMBS and also for flippers or longs investing in the single digits...
A very crucial question concerning MANF really is if their patent "only" covers (i) MANF as an in vitro pre-produced compound, or also (ii) MANF regulation/transcriptiontranslation/folding or something like that (which I really doubt). I am also not convinced that the MANF patent will not be brougt to court again, especially when it DOES become a blockbuster drug.
