Perhaps they named it, as you stated, to target a specific population. If they plan on international penetration, the name is suitable. Bottom line, if it creates revenue, that's what we're after. I like the literal translation.

The name does suck. It will alienate more than it will draw in. Further they will never get a trademark on that. I am starting to think Rc is shooting this stock in the foot every chance he can get. This pr sucks. Hey we didn't have enough inventory but we promise were a professional business. Hey we hope to have fins out in july when we said before we will. Why put put such a crap pr. Also, who on their development team thought rico suave wpuld be a good idea. Complete idiots.

Rico Suave is basically a man who is for all intended purposes the following: Good Looking, muscular, "macho"-being totally cool toward everyone and everything, very clean and neat in appearance, a man who is 100% man: almost every lady is attracted to him because of his great charismatic ability, and when need be, he can be a real bad guy to mess with. Rico Suave is more of a definitive personality type, go to the beach in the summer and you will see several who fit the above, in addition to wearing sunglasses and jewelry, he is a ladies man, enjoying fast cars, hot woman, and good at hustling people in pool. Rico Suave is what every man wants to be, but 99.7% of men never live up to.
