That may be going a little too far. There are huge differences in American and Canadian tax losses. (Never had to SELL to claim a total loss here, but you can't claim an active stock as total loss ...)
Still lots of buyers, here, but, apparently, the ones who want to sell for tax losses also want as much a minimal loss as possible. That may mean no takers.
