Robin, what's sad is that Martha and Co get paid regardless if it sells or not.
That said, I'm not sure if Martha's group is really at fault, because there's no way they're gonna go out and spend the $$$$ to try and move a product when the other company gets most of the profits. The fact that Inergetics didn't do any heavy advertising is a reflection of their financial standing, and as it stands they took on too big of a risk with MSE, which needed those promotions and the $$$ backing the brand.
The worst part is that they would eventually line up thousands of stores nationwide to hold their brand, which was quite impressive at how fast they accomplished this when you stop and think about it. Maybe they can still sell it and turn a profit at some point, but you'd have to start seeing major growth in sales, and soon.
