As usual, I can prove that you are lying.

I called for nothing faster than 2.2GHz for 90nm, and a starting frequency of 2.66GHz for 65nm QC.

So if all AMD can do by 2008 is enable 2.6GHz quad core, they are coming in quite a bit *below* my expectations.
