Something I never knew about Messi was the fact that he suffered from growth hormone deficiency and ended up getting HGH treatments for that.

He was lucky that someone realized his potential and even today he is only 5'7".

MLB players who have gamed the system could take an example from him and help kids who could benefit from his disease.

I've coached a couple of kids in baseball who probably have the same issue and I'd like to see him win for their sake.
