I believe those are the different type or names of the miners they are using, if you go to https://www.btcpoolparty.com/index.php?page=gettingstarted on the Poolparty website you will notice miners with similar abbreviations.

Also notice on the pool page under statistics the first miner is dgmining, I believe that is MELY's miner and the others are people that have joined the pool.

Someone with more knowledge about this stuff please correct me if I am wrong, as I am still learning about this BTC stuff.
