For what it's worth, Judson Hoover was not CFO for Petron, just only on BOD. He was hired by Breitling as their CFO after coming to Petron's BOD, and had served as CFO for other companies in the past. So serving only on BOD for Petron was to some degree below his level of expertise.
It is hard to know if there are any tea leaves at all to read in his leaving Petron's BOD. Breitling has been doing very well, so maybe that is simply demanding more of his time.
