A Dispensary in Colorado is challenging the Internal Revenue Service’s policy of charging extra fees to companies that pay taxes in cash.

That'll be interesting news to follow If/When USTC and it's IPO Licensed Grower decide to open a dispensary.

Thats why I like that USTC waited before deciding to go forward into this sector.

Marijuana will be on the ballot in November elections boys !!

We can expect excitement and political news in the sector as it draws near :)

Feel free to follow this thread back and Happy 4th of July !!

The Value of such Properties Soars because of increased demand from entrepreneurs seeking to open cultivation sites and dispensaries.

USTC has the knowledge to provide such a service and lease back through double- and triple-net leases.

Definition of 'Triple Net Lease'

A lease agreement that designates the lessee (the tenant) as being solely responsible for all of the costs relating to the asset being leased in addition to the rent fee applied under the lease. The structure of this type of lease requires the lessee to pay for net real estate taxes on the leased asset, net building insurance and net common area maintenance. The lessee has to pay the net amount of three types of costs, which how this term got its name.

This type of lease can also be referred to as a "net-net-net lease" or a "hell or high water lease".

I concur, LT. In my opinion USTC providing it's own crops as a grower/dispensary will be key to it's success. IN fact, recently the Denver Post wrote about the inability of dispensaries to keep enough product to meet the demand and the growers are getting tapped out.

Per:http://www.denverpost.com/marijuana/ci_25316132/pot-growing-warehouses-short-supply-demand-legal-weed

Some recreational stores have been forced to curtail sales because strong demand from customers has outpaced supply.

"Nobody is growing enough marijuana," said Jason Thomas of Avalon Realty Advisors, a firm that specializes in finding warehouse space for cannabis cultivation. "Activity is off the charts, but we're still not meeting demand."

Thomas said that almost all owners of dispensaries and recreational stores are looking for more grow space, either to serve their own customers or to sell wholesale to other undersupplied merchants.

At a nondescript, unsigned warehouse near Interstate 70 in northeast Denver, master grower Evan Schick has to tiptoe gingerly among a green expanse of 750 marijuana plants. Growing space is so valuable that it's a waste to create aisles between the rows of cannabis that supply Walking Raven dispensary in Denver.

Creating a self contained business model will ensure a continuous cash flow, better control of product, and allow for whatever the IRS allows to claim as a business expense from the grow portion of the business, IMO.

George Washington grew hemp and is rumored to have smoked weed.

The father of our country kept meticulous diaries, wherein he noted:

“Sowed hemp at muddy hole by swamp” away from the hemp he grew for fiber.

....and....

“Began to separate the male from female plants at do [sic --rather too late”

....and....

“Pulling up the (male) hemp. Was too late for the blossom hemp by three weeks or a month”

This indicates he was going for female plants with higher THC content.

There's also indication he used hemp preparations to deal with his toothaches (pain).

Lifting prohibition could greatly increase USTC's stock price. ..I'm so glad that USTC chose to enter this sector.

Goodbye Prohibition!.. North Carolina House passed a bill allowing patients who suffer from epilepsy access to legally access and use CBD oil. (cannaboids)

It's another State that USTC can look forward to doing business in as patients in North Carolina are able to access the medicine they desperately need.

CBD oil is a Non-psychoactive CBD oil made from marijuana plants and poised to be game-changer

....Parents are reporting a dramatic reduction in seizures when their children are given oral extracts rich in cannabidiol (CBD), a nonpsychoactive cannabis component; these extracts are low in THC, the compound that causes the high marijuana is famous for.

Congratulations to North Carolina !!
