As you do more DD, you will see Ed and Terry and their business partners and friends are working with a major emphasis to promote African Americans and people from around the world who are not "lily white". They are working hard to demonstrate their willingness to work hard, their intelligence, their abilities and more.
They are steadfast in promoting "people of color" (and I say that with tremendous respect) in the entertainment arena and to develop proper and equal representation in the movie and mass media world.
It is a shame someone (apparently, one of their own) would come in and try to play a "race card" against people who are working so hard to help their own ethnic group improve and do better overall. It just goes to show, every race has to admit we have members we cannot control and who do not do justice to or for the rest of us. Fortunately for the human race, the people that embarrass us all are usually a very small minority.
I believe one of Sycamore's greatest strengths is that they are standing up for their own and proving skill, intelligence and morality are not related to race but are individual traits.
