Where are you seeing this extreme hype or promotion. The only hype i see is on this message board, which if anyone is really believing it, you shouldn't be trading. Like I have been saying for months a little time it will take but this will get bought out. Appletv, amazon fire tv, Microsoft, all going towards streaming content.
