True, but you can only jam as many shares into a TFSA as your contribution room will allow (and with the gravy you've built with past investments that you are willing to divest, of course).

Given that I've had to purchase half my shares in a cash account as I hit the limit. I grind my teeth thinking about it but at least I will get half of my earnings from TMD totally tax free

Great earnings vehicle though, I'm surprised how few people understand how TFSA's work here.

Hello Diamon482,

Very interesting and yet very educational. I am not a Canadian that's the problem. My CPA told me I can form a LLC and use the stock profit to "invest/fund" my business.

I think what I need to do is move to Europe and never come back to U.S. if I want to skip on the taxes part.
