"Oil wells" are dry holes in Ukraine. Worthless. Bought a "drilling lease" - just about expired - for a bunch o' shares.

That's how they "buy" everything and pay everyone. Shares.

Tried to scam people out of their money pitching the "oil wells", that's over. A lot of those folks are here now, desperate to sell shares.

People how got shares for "leases" and services sold theirs to the ones who are desperate now. They get 'em for .001, sell 'em for .02, everyone is happy except those who bought for .03.
