Thanks for the call out Fadeaway. As i see it, my job as a mod (and there are other mods plus room for more) is to ensure all voices have equal chance to be heard and to call out fact from opinion so readers (all 75 of them) are not misled by any statements. How other mods in the past have handled this position is for others to judge. So as you are of the opinion that i have not been a shareholder very long, per my etrade account, i purchased my first shares of TORVEC, on 6/7/2007 for $3.85. So I have been at this party for 7 years, and attended the last 6 shareholders meetings. Now you may consider that "not been a shareholder very long" but clearly you just want to whine because someone doesn't share your view. I understand your dislike for GS, other BOD members, DK, JG and KG. But in my opinion, Torvec is better positioned for success today than at any other time in its sorted history. Will they succeed? In my opinion, they will have some form of success in the future. If i did not believe that, there is no logical reason to hang on to shares ... which has been my point all along. RE: BOD share purchases:
Insidercow.com shows William Destler bought 166,667 shares at .30 on 10-12-10 on a day when the range was .81-1.19 and closed at .95 witha total volume of 178,300. He and Asher Flaum also bought smaller amounts around the same time. The only way these slugs on the BOD will buy any shares is if they get some kind of sweetheart deal unavailable to the rest of us. I'm sure they are working on that right now and will devalue our shares even more when they raise the final 1 million following TG's donation. Speaking of board members, General Clark has not been to any board meetings and adds nothing to the Company. He should be terminated immediately and any shares given to him should be cancelled. What a complete waste he has been.
