So far so good in Colorado. Biggest problem appears to be the edible products. People are getting sick and ending up in the ER. Problem is the dosing. One cookie is 6 doses or a chocolate bar is 10 doses. However it takes time for the MJ effect or high to kick in. Therefore everybody eats the whole cookie or whole chocolate bar. After about an hour it really kicks in too much.
Another problem is recreational MJ costs much more than medical MJ. Therefore everybody tries to get a red card to get the cheaper medical MJ. Sales of medical to recreational MJ is currently 2 to 1.
Hopefully Calkin has taken into account these 2 issues.
