I can appreciate your point of view but don't necessarily agree with it.
When performing due diligence on a stock,one should attempt to extract information from as many sources as possible.
This includes but is not exclusive to:the companies website/s, certain internet site message boards,articles,journals,press releases,broadcast affiliate editorials,possible patents,SEC filings,investor relations,family,friends or acquaintances that may work in the particular field you are considering investing in. (to name a few) :-)
Research the CEO and see if he/she is qualified to take on the tasks that are required to keep the company going and growing successfully.
