Um ..... Stargazer, I think you left out a possible reason as to why there is a lack of volume.

COULD IT BE that a large portion of this stock is in "strong" (i.e. not weak) hands? This would mean that longs who actually BELIEVE there will be a JV announcement are actually holding on, as opposed to playing games.

You should also take into account that a full 48% of yesterdays volume was shorting. See the following website:

You might also consider that maybe, just maybe, the MMs who have been playing games heretofore are watching this very closely and are scared $hitle$$ that a deal could be announced ANY MOMENT - in which case they might want to act ("cover" maybe?) in their own best interest.

Sorry, Starnad, but the last comment is the worst possible view for an actual shareholder to take, and totally unfounded if you take a look at all recent communications from the company website and recall what was relayed directly from the shareholder meeting.

An astute investor would also know the ramifications of any BOD members "telling their 'friends'" as that would be in direct violation of a number of insider trading laws.
