So how do we know we have a runner until it has run?
Not an abstract question. It has some variations of answers depending on selected indicators and the skill of the trader trying to understand the best (truest) interpretation.
This technical analysis isn't easy. But some traders "get it" little by little, but mostly slowly after a large number of examples have appeared and been observed. But many never do, to their consternation and disappointment.
It's called experience.
