If you know anything about CREE, leds are just part of their business. Power supplies, rf chips, wafers, and a few other things make up their portfolio. I've personally been using CREE leds for longer than most have even heard of them and I have no complaints. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder. As long as they meet consumers' expectations, all will be fine.
