BYSD -Keep in mind that there are competitors to Bitcoin which are valued much less. Bitcoin have done very well in the last year to 2 years. he Far East Asians have captivated the concept very well since one does NOT have to report gains like $$. The IRS look at Bitcoin and other virtual currencies as property.
Friday selloff should be interesting.
