Another good laugh!
I referred to Cooney's post about a patient of his that had to keep filing appeals of her insurance denial.
He also requests people go sign an online petition for reimbursement that was set up by "joeygiggles" on "causes.com":
"Calmare therapy was designed to help people that suffer from rsd to reduce their pain levels. My friend is on this therapy and it works for him. He is paying through the nose for this treatment, and I feel that this is wrong. I want to change this because I feel that insurance companies should be footing the bill for this treatment not the patients that are suffering from enough pain already.

Well, you go, Joe! Hmmmmmmmmm...391 signatures in TWO YEARS???? Need 499,609 more????? Hmmmmmm...I guess we won't be seeing too much action on that petition anytime soon, huh?
But the funniest part is the last post by "Cindy Tintle":
"I am suffering from RSD after a spinal surgery, I tried the Calmare Therapy today and it worked for me ,no pain for 8 hrs. It was a trial I can not afford to pay for a treatment that worked for me ,so I have to wait until my insurance covers it. But the Dr. Wants the money and then submit to insurance,I am 56 yrs old , disabled so how can I get the treatment that help me. Dr said pain will come back his nurse said I hope you can find a way to do it."
Well, given that Cindy lives in Butler, NJ, no doubt Cooney was her therapist.
It "worked" but the "Dr. wants the money" -- you betcha, heck, being a quackopractor, he doesn't hardly ever get to see any!
And the "Dr said pain will come back his nurse said I hope you can find a way to do it." Dang! That's cold isn't it?! Gee, the poor woman's hurting and the machine probably doesn't use twenty five cents worth of electricity and, heck, could probably reuse the electrodes! Come on, Cooney, how about helping the lady out a little! Why, I bet she'd be even willing to do a youtube testimonial for you in trade!
