Doc, don’t give up hope on the design, these structures are easily manipulated unlike cinder block and can be quite beautiful. But that article you reference may give insight into why some of the corporate decisions of late have been taken. Perhaps the principals involved simply have similar values and more less like minded. Take this paragraph from the article and simply replace Blackburn with Koppelman as I have done:

Many of the people hired by TAG(Koppelman) are ex-offenders who have had difficulty finding a company that would be willing to give them a second chance. “We understand that people sometimes make mistakes,” Blackburn(Koppelman) said, “we all make mistakes, so if we can help someone who is trying to get their life in order then we will do that.”

Thanks, first peek at the STUDIOPLEX under Shapiro... Now we know what they are building.... The new cinderblock... So if you want to have a big box, I suppose they could build one with this stuff, even though cheap "cinder block" type housing is what it seems to be designed for...
