It really is a question of stability. Who wants to buy into a company where the CEO is unknown? I wouldn't, and the fact that this CEO got fillings updated and stated no RS or AS increase is huge for investor confidence. It was worth announcing, all companies that are going places like to update shareholders on who's running the place. Getting filings updated to remove the stop sign is a huge undertaking and IMO a huge reason they kept him.
