(No mention of a secret 64 bit mode, funnily enough! :-)

For those who don't read German, here are some highlights interspersed with my own comments:

Prescott 2003/Q4 on 90nm 3200 and 3400MHz. 3.6GHz in 2004Q1. That doesn't seem terribly agressive to me for a 90nm CPU. They will go faster in Q2 though they are not guessing right now how fast. Will have 800MHz FSB on the same socket as Northwood.

LGA technology (land grid array) lets them move to 1066 and 1200MHz FSB by the end of 2004. Teja (I thought it was Tejas) at the end of 2004. No mention of secret 64 bit technology in this one either :-) (the guys at Ace's think it has some sort of IA64 mode ?!?).

1.7GHz Banias this quarter, in Q4 the successor, Dohan, with 2Mbytes cache (!) arrives at 1.8GHz. Dothan is 90nm. Roadmap diagram here http://www.tecchannel.de/hardware/1179/4.html

Intel is defining a new "Portable" format for desktop replacement systems with P4-based CPUs. It's bigger than "Full Size". (The Humvee of portable computers? :-)

Well worth reading the whole thing.
