This person seemed to blow things out of proportions. I don't lose sleep over it. But, I don't want to be the one to set them off. I couldn't predict what they would do in real life.
It's possible that something will come out in July. Didn't they imply that they would re-release the Zero issue stories again, in the Giant-Size line?
I still think they are having problems finding enough advertisers and possibly enough stores to handle all the comics. There are only a few thousand comic specialty stores. And, they got a late start talking to them (should have done it last year-yep, I'm second guessing them). They probably haven't talked to many stores that handle magazines, where the logistics of free stuff is harder to control.
A million issues of an expected hit is one thing. A store could order a few hundred copies, knowing people are going to want multiple copies. Handling (and possibly inventorying) copies of free books (that they probably don't make money off of), is a different matter.
