Remember that whatever (if any) Fan paid for Olsen/Rene's shares, that goes to them, not the network. So it does not affect QTN's balance sheet one bit. The only way for QTN to have positive shareholder equity is if Fan injected capital into the company. Again, this is not the same as Fan buying Olsen & Schenk's shares.
I hope Fan didn't give them one dime. Would've been dumb: the company is worthless and has massive liabilities that are shouldered by the owners. There's rumors Fan promised Olsen and Schenk $4mm each. I can't believe that.
Talk about dumb: I thought the only risk in QBID was it not being a successful venture, the standard stuff. Not that the CEO might be a reckless liar. I knew he was given to bluster. Didn't know he was pathological.
