Good catch sons, I enjoyed that part myself. 45% annual is huge. This article, in my summation, is the best example we have to date explaining the synergies and how such synergies will affect us in the future. I got the warm & fuzzies reading how it wasn't until VMWare combined with EMC that BOTH companies exploded "into the stratosphere" due to their synergies as a combined entity. Sounds very familiar to what we have here and what Mgmt has been saying all along.

How does the tape business tie into the software (Glassware) business?

Sons, if I understand it correctly, tape will be another part of our converged solution. Since Overland has recently received patent approval for tape emulation software (as posted by donkschmonk), I assume this will eventually be included in our converged appliance, that will do application/desktop/storage virtualization. This will also make it easier to manage data in back-up tape storage.
